Director General of Statistics Canada’s Surveys Unit to Bestow TD Hispanic Awards and Release Latest Hispanic Census Data

Toronto, October 10, 2019 –Lynn Barr-Telford, Assistant Chief Statistician at Statistics Canada, will present TD Bank’s “10 most influential Hispanic Canadians” awards on Tuesday, November 19 in Toronto. Barr-Telford will also release the latest ‘Profile of the Hispanic community in Canada’ based on the 2016 census. John Zimmerman, Director for Ontario at Global Affairs Canada, is providing due diligence in the judging process. Media across and community associations are invited to partner for this 13th edition of the awards. Two sponsorship opportunities are still available. Tickets costs $50 per person if purchased before October 25.
